Absolute TAČR award for our project

We are quite excited to become an absolute winner of Technology Agency of Czech Republic prizes in 2021. After receiving the prize in Bussiness cathegory, the absolute prize was awarded based on internet poll.

Within this project, we have modified the atomic hydrogen source initially developed by Jindra Mach for UHV applications, and used it within an SEM to demonstrate redox reactions at reduced temperatures. Hence, there is a new beam in SEM, adding to already present electrons and ions! We hope thare is a new direction in SEM-based research this tool offers to scientists.
