2022 - Pressure chamber
relevant to TAČR Trend FW03010504
Pressure chamber is used to introduce the working gas and laser light into the hollow optical fiber. The other end of this hollow fiber forms the tip of the SPM LiteScope installed in the electron microscope chamber. In order to make this hollow fiber as short as possible and to minimize the resistance to the gas flow, the pressure chamber is located directly in the vacuum chamber of the electron microscope.
Figure 1: View of both parts of the overpressure chambers. 4 – positive pressure loading chamber, 5a – sealed optic fiber ferrule, 5b – optic fiber ferrule, 6 – sealed hollow optical fiber ferrule, 7 – z axis linear guide, 8 – guide slider, 9 – x and y axis cross translation mechanism, 10 – adjustment screws, 15 – inlet pressure chamber. The input of the working gas is marked with a red arrow.
