2019 - Apparatus for cold electron auto emission measurements

The measuring head allows the study of electron emission from the cold surfaces in UHV conditions. The head can be more accurately adjusted in the term of the anode and cathode distance. As a new design, it limits parasitic current occuring during repeated sample measurements. A typical anode-cathode distance is 100 µm. During measurement, the temperature of the sample can reach the values up to 900 ºC.
